This report examines the behavioural and learning difficulties of a second year student and the strategies implemented to address his specific needs. The student was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The aim of this rationale is to assist the progress from a four-week design scheme in to a three-week dry point etching scheme. The rationale will begin with an examination in to the psychological reports carried out thus far in relation to his difficulties. In preparation for this report, student surveys were undertaken in class as well as conversations with his art teacher and the school’s resource co-ordinator. Advice and recommendations from the different parties were then recognised and implemented in class.
